My second idea was very different to the first one, in fact the complete opposite type of mood and genre! This one would be set in a hospital in a very dark and cold environment. Each of the band members would be on hospital beds or getting treated whilst playing their instruments. This would show the audience that they are passionate about music and even serious illness or injury wont stop them playing. This puts the image in the viewers head that music is the only thing that really matters in their lives.
This would also create the idea that music acted as a pain killer for them, and without music their lives would be miserable but playing music makes it bearable. This music of the band would clearly reflect this, it would have to be depressing, grunge music, potentially a song by 'The Smashing Pumpkins'. I think this would really help portray the image of the band and would make viewers sympathise with them. I think people would want to watch this video more than once.
